Today we shared the story 'Rainbow fish' about a fish with glittering scales who is not kind to other fish in the ocean. The smaller fish would like to have one of his scales but he is not willing to do this. Ask your child to recall the story and find out what happens at the end.
We saw lots of things in the ocean, would you like to help your child find out more about what lives in the sea?
We have been continuing with recognising numbers to 10, the numbers are not always in sequence and childrens' mathematical vocabulary is extended through using before, after, next. eg What number comes before 4, after 6 etc. We are starting to count to 10 and then count backwards to 0.
